PADI Certificate Courses.
DISCOVER
SCUBA DIVING This one day course is available every day
and is ideal for those who would like a short introduction to scuba
diving. The course is made up of one theory lesson and two water
sessions in a sheltered, shallow bay. On the first dive you will
be shown by your PADI Instructor some skills that you talked about
in the theory session, such as mask clearance, removing and replacing
your regulator. You will have a tour of the dive site staying shallow.
Then for your second dive your Instructor will escort you on a slightly
deeper dive (max.6m).
On completion of the course you can register with PADI and at the
discretion of the Instructor, the skills and dives you have done
can be credited towards the PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water
Diver courses. (Details of these courses can be found below)

SCUBA
DIVER 2/3 days. Entry level course suitable for those who wish
to dive beyond beginner level but do not have the time to complete
the Open Water Diver course. Completion of 3 knowledge sessions,
3 confined water (pool/pool like conditions) training sessions and
2 open water dives qualifies you to dive to 12m when accompanied
by a PADI professional.
OPEN WATER DIVER 4/5 days. The 5 confined water training dives, 4 open water dives and theory sessions make up the Open Water Diver course. Independent study allows for more free time or time to spend in the water. The Open Water Diver course provides the student with the necessary knowledge and water skills to dive with complete self confidence.
ADVENTURE DIVER 1/2 days. You design your Adventure diver course by choosing from a list 3 open water training dives. Once successfully completed, you are an Adventure Diver and on your way to advanced diving. Dives available, Underwater Naturalist, Nitrox, Photography, Wreck, Multi level, Fish ID and Boat.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER 2/3 days. The Advanced Open Water Diver course is almost all diving with a little theory to along the way. 2 "core" dives, Deep and Navigation must be completed along with 3 other dives from a list detailed in Adventure Diver.
RESCUE DIVER 3/4 days. Designed to develop Advanced divers recognition of and reaction to problems that may occur in the dive environment. Accident avoidance and management,rescue skills and life saving techniques all combine to make up one of the most personally rewarding courses available.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE. Non divers are welcome on this course as it is not a diving but a comprehensive introduction to First Aid, Expired Air Resuscitation and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Use of video, training doll and a student training pack ensures understanding and mastery of life saving skills.
MASTER SCUBA DIVER if you are a Rescue Diver and do not wish to "go Pro" then the Master Scuba Diver is to where you aim. Complete 5 specialities diver courses and there you are. You can view the list of exciting specialities here on the web site.
DIVEMASTER. The first step on the PROFESSIONAL ladder. If time is available we offer an internship. The student is assigned to an experienced instructor to assist in daily duties. Along the way the student develops to Instructor level the water skills and dive theory, practically applying both on a daily basis. Classrom sessions ensure that the student is readied to sit the Divemaster exams.(if time is limited please contact the centre and we will be happy to help develop a timetable if possible).
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR. The Assistant Instructor course provides qualified Divemasters with additional training and so increasing the Divemasters range of duties, making them even more useful to Instructors. The Assistant Instructor course may act as a very useful stepping stone on the road to becoming a PADI Instructor.
SPECIALITY COURSES.
If you have a particular interest in a specific area of SCUBA Diving, specialty courses give you the academic and practical skills to further enjoy these interests.
ENRICHED AIR (NITROX) DIVER 2 dives 1 day The course trains the diver to use both 32% and 36% mixes of enriched air. EANx pack is required and available at the centre.
BOAT DIVER 2 dives 1 day Enjoy two boat dives while learning about our boat "Apollon" a 26m steel ship and dive boat procedures.
MULTI LEVEL DIVER 2 dives 1 day Find out how to plan your dive between levels to increase time spent on the dive.
UNDERWATER NATURALIST DIVER 2 dives 1 day You know the underwater world is amazing but let us tell and show you even more weird and wonderful things .What nudibranch should you look for on a certain sponge, what fish lets us know that octopus are around..........
UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER 2 dives 1 day Develop your photographic skills in the crystal clear waters that we dive
